Eid ul – Adha

Eid Ul Adha is also known as Sacrifice Feast.  It is second of two Muslim holidays which is celebrated worldwide every year. This festival is celebrated for the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ishmael. This festival is celebrated in last month of Muslim Calendar. This festival is celebrated three days, which is called Days of Tashreeq. This festival is knows with various names in various languages like Eid Ul Adha in English, Aid El Kebir in French, Eid Ul Adha (Opferfest) in German, Eid Ul Adha in Spanish, etc. Devotees offer the Eid Ul Adha prayers at the mosque. Story of Eid Ul Adha

Ibrahim, known as Abraham, in Christian and Jewish traditions, was ordained by God to abandon his adult son, followed and took Ismael (Ismail or Ismail) to Moriauria Mountain as soon as he was going to abandon his son; an angel stopped him and gave a ram to sacrifice in your son. Some people maintain that the son of the sacrifice was Isaac (Isursak). However, these events are commemorated and celebrated at Eid Ul-Adha.

National, state and local government offices, post offices and banks are closed on Eid Ul-Adha. People visit their friend, family, and knowing one person to celebrate this day. This festival is the second largest festival of Muslim. Pilgrims are also performing Hajj at that time. Hajj is an annual pilgrimage to Mecca.
